Rocket League coach: take the second seat
Every tryout runs with two adult staff, and we want a coach in that second seat. We're a new club, founded in 2026, so you'd be our founding coach and help shape the squad.

Five roles
The roles
Founding Rocket League coach
Be the second staff member at every tryout, then coach the squad.
What you'll do
- Review replays and run strategy sessions: positioning, rotations, training goals for each player.
- Help build a squad for the RLCS Club Championship open qualifier (online). Entry isn't guaranteed.
- Good fit:
- Grand Champion or higher (current or peak), or proven coaching experience. EU/UK servers.
- Time (a guide):
- About 2-4 hours a week, more in tryout weeks.
- Checks:
- Two references and an induction, including the British Esports Duty to Care course.
- What the squad gets:
- Regular coaching and a weekly scrim schedule.
Rocket League team manager
The players' first point of contact, and the person who makes the week run.
What you'll do
- Run the scrim schedule and book scrims with other EU teams.
- Sign the team up for tournaments and handle check-ins.
- Keep the roster's calendar and chase availability.
- Help run tryout days with the founder.
- Good fit:
- Organised and reliable, and you know the EU Rocket League scene (6 Mans, EU scrim Discords, start.gg and Liquipedia events). You don't need to be a high-ranked player.
- Time (a guide):
- 3-5 hours a week, mostly evenings
- Checks:
- Two references and an induction.
Community moderator
Keep the FIENDS Discord friendly and safe.
What you'll do
- Check the Discord a few times a week and welcome new members.
- Act on AutoMod flags and reports.
- Log anything that worries you in the staff safeguarding log the same day.
- Good fit:
- Experienced Discord moderator (other servers count), steady under pressure, and you understand why the rules exist when under-18s are in the community.
- Time (a guide):
- 2-4 hours a week, spread out
- Checks:
- Two references, and a criminal record check before you get moderator permissions.
Clip and social editor
Make FIENDS look alive. Three posts a week beats one polished post a month.
What you'll do
- Cut short vertical clips from scrims and tryouts for TikTok, YouTube Shorts and X.
- Make player announcement posts from our brand templates.
- Suggest one content idea a week.
- Good fit:
- CapCut, Premiere or DaVinci, and you know what makes a Rocket League clip work. A portfolio link, even a personal channel.
- Time (a guide):
- 2-4 hours a week
- Checks:
- Two references and an induction. You never post identifying images of anyone under 18.
Graphic designer
Overlays, signing graphics and templates, within our brand.
What you'll do
- Stream overlays and “Welcome to FIENDS” signing graphics.
- Tournament posters.
- Templates the clip editor can reuse.
- Good fit:
- A portfolio of esports or gaming graphics, and Figma or Photoshop. You work within the brand guidelines; the Grin mark itself isn't redesigned.
- Time (a guide):
- Project by project, about 2 hours a week
- Checks:
- Two references and an induction.
